And it can also <span class=\"weight-bold\"><a class=\"anchors\" href=\"#teachers\">help their teachers<\/a><\/span>.<\/h3>\n<div class=\"page-section\" style=\"padding-top: 30px; padding-bottom: 50px;\">\n<h2 class=\"section-title center-align\">What are <span class=\"weight-bold\">the benefits?<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>If you hear somebody claiming mindfulness is a cure for everything then please be careful! Nevertheless there is a growing body of increasingly robust research which points towards tangible benefits both for young people and those who care for them. The benefits of mindfulness in the adult world are well-researched and the positive impact it can have on teachers, counsellors and carers is central to MiSP\u2019s vision. These benefits include: stress regulation and reduction, increased self compassion and increased teaching efficacy.<\/p>\n<h2>What are the risks?<\/h2>\n<p>We would never claim that mindfulness works for all children and young people, but a significant finding from even the most robust research is that there seem to be very few negative impacts. Furthermore, we train teachers how to handle possible risks and insist that <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">.<\/span><span style=\"color: #274368;\">b<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #274368;\">Paws b, <\/span><\/strong> <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">.<\/span><span style=\"color: #274368;\">breathe<\/span><\/strong>, <strong><span style=\"color: #274368;\">dots<\/span><\/strong> and  <strong><span style=\"color: #274368;\">The Present<\/span><\/strong> are only taught within the safeguarding structure of a school.
