This course can be offered to anyone connected with your school community; teachers, teaching support staff, admin and site staff, peripatetic support, parents and governors.<\/p>\n<p>The course is delivered in person, allowing real-time interaction with your group whilst being led by a highly experienced <a href=\"https:\/\/mindfulnessinschools.org\/map\/foundations-teachers\/\">MiSP trained adult mindfulness teacher<\/a>.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<h2 class=\"course-outline-section-title\">What will I get from\u00a0<strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">.<\/span><span style=\"color: #274368;\">b Foundations<\/span><\/strong><strong>?<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-216345 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/mindfulnessinschools.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/05\/dot-b-Foundations-copy.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">.<\/span><span style=\"color: #274368;\">b Foundations<\/span><\/strong> is an introduction to mindfulness for the purpose of supporting participants in terms of their own understanding of mindfulness and general wellbeing. <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">.<\/span><span style=\"color: #274368;\">b Foundations<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0does\u00a0<strong>not<\/strong>\u00a0involve training to teach mindfulness to young people or adults.<\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in teaching mindfulness to your pupils, those who complete the <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">.<\/span><span style=\"color: #274368;\">b Foundations<\/span><\/strong>\u00a0course and continue to practise mindfulness on a regular basis can then qualify for further training to teach our <a href=\"https:\/\/mindfulnessinschools.org\/teach-dots-3-6\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>dots<\/strong> curriculum<\/a> (for 3 &#8211; 6 year-olds),\u00a0 <a href=\"https:\/\/mindfulnessinschools.org\/teach-paws-b\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>Paws b<\/strong> curriculum<\/a> (for 7 &#8211; 11 year-olds), <a href=\"https:\/\/mindfulnessinschools.org\/teach-the-present\/\">The Present<\/a> (for 3 &#8211; 12 year olds) or our <a href=\"https:\/\/mindfulnessinschools.org\/teach-dot-b\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><strong>.b<\/strong> curriculum<\/a> (for 11 &#8211; 18 year-olds).<\/p>\n<p>Anyone who completes a<strong> <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">.<\/span><span style=\"color: #274368;\">b Foundations<\/span><\/strong> course with a recognised teacher will be able to pay to join the Hub and access ongoing personal practice support via Hub practice group sessions, one day retreats and skills workshops.
